Job Description:
A company is looking for a Risk Officer II, Deposit & Payments
Oversight (Remote).
Key Responsibilities
Provide independent oversight of deposit and payment risks through
effective challenge and collaboration with stakeholders
Oversee Operational Risk Events (OREs) and conduct root cause
analysis to identify trends and control weaknesses
Assess risks and controls for new products and support the
development of key risk indicators (KRIs)
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in relevant fields or
High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of experience
Direct exposure to deposit and payments systems (e.g., ACH,
Wires)
Knowledge of regulatory guidance and industry frameworks related to
deposits and payments
Understanding of the three lines of defense model and effective
challenge
Related audit or risk management certification (e.g., CERP, CIA,
CISA)
