Engineer Job Summary*
Our client, a leader in marine engine and propulsion systems and
power generation equipment, seeks a Turbocharger Service Engineer.
It can be based in the Ft Lauderdale area (preferably) or New
Orleans area or Washington state. The role will be responsible for
technical and customer support of clients for all turbocharger
needs. -The company is expanding rapidly through both acquisition

*Turbocharger Service Engineer **Responsibilities*
* Perform assembly and disassembly of turbochargers and their
components according to manufacturer instructions.
* Inspect turbochargers for wear and damage, diagnose issues, and
determine necessary repairs.
* Conduct routine maintenance and repair work on turbochargers,
including cleaning, reconditioning, and replacing parts.
* Prepare detailed technical reports on the condition of
turbochargers and the work performed.
* Ensure all work meets quality standards and complies with safety
regulations.
* Provide technical support and advice to customers, both onsite
and remotely.
* Work closely with other engineers and technicians to coordinate
repairs and share knowledge. - -
*Turbocharger Service Engineer Position Requirements*
* A recognized electrical or mechanical certificate from an
accredited trade school or military training institution, or an
associate degree in a related field from an accredited
institution.
* At least 3 years of hands-on experience with turbochargers,
marine diesel engines, and similar mechanical systems. A
combination of relevant education and experience may be
considered.
* Strong understanding of and experience with turbocharger systems
and components.
* Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues.
* High level of accuracy in performing maintenance and repairs.
* Effective communication with customers and team members.
* Availability to travel (up to 60 or 70%) and work occasionally
during weekends.
* Ability to write detailed technical reports.
* Professional representation of the company when communicating
with customers.
