Job Description:
A company is looking for an Assistant Controller - EMEA (EU
Remote).
Key Responsibilities
Oversee accounting close and reporting for European operations,
ensuring compliance with US GAAP and local standards
Manage transfer pricing calculations and intercompany transactions,
ensuring compliance with statutory reporting requirements
Lead the transformation of financial reporting processes and
contribute to global budgeting and forecasting for the GmbH
entity
Required Qualifications
5+ years of finance and accounting experience, preferably in
multinational tech/software companies
Proficiency in German accounting standards (HGB) and significant
experience with US GAAP
Experience with German tax regulations and cross-border taxation
issues
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or equivalent, along with
relevant certifications (e.g., CPA)
Fluency in German and English, with additional languages being a
plus
