The Opportunity

Our client is a global equipment manufacturer who has hired us to seek out a Lean Manufacturing Specialist for their Ft. Lauderdale, FL location.



This position is responsible for leading initiatives to improve safety, quality, delivery cycle times, operational costs, and customer satisfaction within a team environment.



Other responsibilities include:

Leading GEMBA walks and driving Continuous Improvement initiatives across the manufacturing plant
Collecting and analyzing data to formulate improvements to existing standards or introduce new work standards
Facilitating small group meetings and providing leadership on cross-functional improvement projects
Developing and implementing standardized work conditions, including work instruction changes and staff training



Qualifications include:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering required (Industrial, Ergonomics, or Logistics preferred)
Minimum 3+ years of Lean Manufacturing experience
Proficiency with Microsoft products (TEAMS, Excel, Outlook, Word, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.)
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with experience in techniques such as 8Ds and PSS projects
